1972
The founder, Mr Jean Polmans, establishes the company as a natural person in Berneau

1984
Daniel Polmans becomes a shareholder and joins his father. Together, they continue to operate as a non-profit organisation (ASBL). Arrival of the first numerically controlled machines

1991
Polmans becomes a public limited company

1996
Daniel Polmans becomes the sole shareholder of SA POLMANS

Expansion


1997
Mr Daniel Polmans takes over the mechanical division of HORION in Herstal, along with its staff.

1998
Emmanuel Polmans, Daniel’s son, joins SA POLMANS as a machine operator. From this date onwards, he became involved in the company’s management.


Construction 1er hall

1999
Construction of a new industrial hall measuring approximately 1,600 m² in the Visé industrial zone.

Visé

2000
The activities of HORION and POLMANS SA are transferred to the new site in Visé.



2001
Cédric Polmans, Daniel's son, joins SA POLMANS as a machine operator. From this date onwards, he became involved in the company’s management.

2008 – 2009
Construction of a new industrial hall adjoining the first one, with a surface area of approximately 650 m². Installation of 5-tonne and 10-tonne overhead travelling cranes

Transfer and investment in the future 

2016
Cédric and Emmanuel Polmans, along with a long-standing partner, join the shareholder base

Construction 3ième hall

2019 - 2020
Construction of the third industrial hall with bridges, covering a surface area of 1,000 m², opposite the first 2 buildings.
